Personal Injury & Wrongful Death Lawyers

MillerKing LLC represents clients in family law cases and related matters. Our attorneys and team members work on behalf of each client to discuss, evaluate, and achieve our client’s goals. We recognize that family law issues are complex, emotional, and time-consuming. Our family law attorneys and team members strive to provide quality, ethical, and effective legal services and representation.

HOW CAN A FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY HELP ME?

Our family law attorneys have real-world, legal, and courtroom experience to evaluate the client’s situation, offer solid legal advice, and zealously represent our client’s best interests. Each family law case presents unique issues and challenges – which are handled in a confidential, ethical, and professional manner.

We work to safeguard that our client’s rights are protected, property and debts are divided equitably, child support and spousal support are set fairly, and that parenting arrangements or plans are made appropriately and reasonably.

The selection of an Attorney is a highly important and vital decision. The best way to judge the compatibility and suitability of an Attorney is to meet in-person in a private and confidential setting.

HOW TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN’S BEST INTERESTS?

Often in a family law case, the most important, emotional, and sensitive issue is the well-being, health, and safety of a child or children. We communicate and work with each to client to promote substantively that certain and defined actions are being taken to protect the children’s best interests, preserve family relationships, and minimize the chaos and disruption. We search and seek practical, reasonable, and legal solutions in all family law cases and matters.

WHAT IS THE END GOAL IN A FAMILY LAW MATTER?

The goal is to resolve the case or matter effectively, professionally, and ethically in our client’s best interest in order to finalize the conflict and allow for the healing process to begin.

The final result may include a fair and reasonable settlement agreement between the parties in which both sides decide to resolve the conflict or case. If a settlement agreement is not reached, the objective is to zealously advocate for each client in court through the litigation process. Another option entails mediation whereby each party has an opportunity to provide input into any final decision or agreement.

HOW ARE THE ATTORNEY’S FEES PAID?

During an initial confidential meeting, our attorneys will quote a fair and reasonable attorneys’ fee generally in the form of an advanced security retainer. The attorneys charge their time at an hourly rate with monthly statements generated at the end of the month. Our attorneys use a transparent billing system, which allows each client to know and understand the nature and cost of legal services.
